The Story of Puffer Plateau Farm
We, Emily and Eric have come from Massachusettts and Pennsylvania respectively to find our home in the beauty of the northern reaches of Vermont. We have worked to bring back our plateau from the wilds it had become. Gardens are growing, greenhouses are going up, goats are trimming back the brush and the pigs are working the land. It is a group effort and a labor of love.

What we Believe
We believe in the power of hard work, and you get out what you put in. That is why we grow, feed and produce only the best. All of our animals are fed from local sources. We source as much of our feed organically as is possible. All of the food that we grow comes from heritage seed sources and heritage breed sources. We believe that we must care for, nurture and protect our environment while still using the land to maintain sustainability.

We sell our animals to people who are committed to doing their best. Each animal here on the farm has a special place in our hearts and each of our days. We look for that same level of caring and commitment in any prospective buyer.
We raise only heritage breed animals and harvest only organic and heirloom crops. We follow the practices that we learned from our grandparents about raising animals and planting crops. We believe that by subscribing to this philosophy we are contributing to a more sustainable and healthier world.
